POSM SQL Server Now Emulates NASSCO V7 Export Exchange Databases Without Exporting

POSM Server can now emulate NASSCO V7 exchange databases directly in SQL Server, cutting out extra export steps.

Microsoft SQL Management Studio

Work Directly With NASSCO V7 Data

POSM Server now allows your SQL database to emulate NASSCO V7 exchange databases without requiring a separate export step. Instead of generating and managing additional exchange files, your asset management, CMMS, or work order system can connect straight to the POSM SQL database.

This change dramatically simplifies how you share PACP, LACP, and MACP V7 inspection data across platforms, making it easier to keep your master system of record up to date.

Fewer Exports, Less Double Entry

  • Eliminate duplicate exports: Link directly to SQL instead of generating separate NASSCO exchange databases.
  • Reduce manual work: Stop “doubling up” data by exporting and re-importing into other systems.
  • Keep a single source of truth: POSM Server becomes the hub for NASSCO V7 inspection data.

Your other systems can consume the same high–quality information that lives in POSM— including links to videos, images, and HTML reports—without any extra steps for field staff.

Connect Asset and Work Order Systems Directly

With this SQL emulation in place, cities and contractors can build or extend integrations with asset management platforms, work order systems, and GIS environments by pointing those tools directly at the POSM database.

As a result, you can jump from a work order or asset record straight into the corresponding POSM inspection video, image set, or report using stored links.

Upgrade to the Latest POSM Server

If you already run POSM Server with NASSCO V7, contact POSM Tech Support to schedule an upgrade and begin taking advantage of the SQL emulation option. Our team can help review your current setup and recommend the best way to connect downstream systems to POSM.
