FEBRUARY 2026 NEWSLETTER
Visit POSM at the WWETT Show
![]() |
February 17–19, 2026 POSM will be exhibiting at WWETT 2026, and our team will be on-site to talk through real-world inspection, GIS, and data-management workflows. Stop by Booth 4271 to see what’s new, ask questions, and grab a limited-edition POSM stuffie while supplies last. We’ll also have a Jacobs representative at our booth to answer questions about POSM’s Dragonfly AI integration and how AI-driven analysis fits into inspection workflows. |
Introducing POSM Central at WWETT 2026
At the booth, you’ll find an overview video, our updated brochure, and—most importantly— POSM reps ready to walk through how Central can optimize your existing workflows. While the full release is planned for Q2 2026, we are currently enrolling early adopters and beta testers for customers interested in cloud sharing and centralized access today.
POSM Central A Fully Managed Cloud Platform
POSM Central is a POSM hosted, fully managed cloud platform designed to simplify how inspection data is accessed and shared without the need to install or maintain servers.
Each organization sees only its own inspection data by default, with the ability to share inspections and transfer ownership between contractors and municipalities when needed.
Built on the trusted POSM Web Sync workflow, POSM Central provides automatic updates, backups, and scalable storage, allowing teams to access their data from anywhere without managing infrastructure.
New Tools Solving Real-World Inspection Problems
POSM Overlay Tool
Over the years, we’ve seen a consistent challenge: inspections with missing, incorrect, or outdated video overlays. The POSM Overlay Tool solves this problem without requiring a return trip to the field.
By avoiding re-inspection and re-videoing, customers save time, labor, and money—while preserving valuable inspection data. |
POSM Voice Narration Tool
Similar in spirit to the Overlay Tool, the Voice Narration Tool allows users to add or replace inspection audio using computer-generated narration. It’s ideal for inspections missing narration or containing incorrect commentary, helping standardize results without sending crews back into the field. |
MapReader 3: Continuing to Evolve
MapReader 3 was featured in our previous newsletter, and its adoption continues to grow. Ongoing development has expanded its capabilities, making it a powerful tool for both field and office users.
MapReader 3 enables:
- Offline data collection and editing
- Geometry and attribute updates in the field
- Direct consumption of ArcGIS Feature Services and Web Maps
- Seamless synchronization back to ArcGIS Online
Its flexibility and offline-first design make it a favorite for teams that need reliable GIS access in real-world inspection environments.
GIS Integrations Customers Are Asking For
POSM ArcGIS Online API Integration (AGOL Sync)
Our AGOL Sync tool continues to gain traction with POSM Server customers, providing a direct, reliable connection between POSM inspection data and ArcGIS Online. This integration ensures inspection attributes and map data stay current without manual effort.
Diamond Maps API Integration
We recently completed a Diamond Maps API integration for a POSM Server customer. By working directly with Diamond Maps to develop this connection, we can now offer this integration to any existing or prospective POSM customer. As always, POSM continues to build GIS integrations upon request.
